Our Software-as-a- Service products (“Services”) are used to simplify how people connect with each other, communicate, transfer information, and create better outcomes for individuals, groups, professionals, and businesses.In this Privacy Policy, we explain what personal data we collect from visitors to the Collaboration Insights websites and/or properties that link to this Privacy Policy (including our digital properties listed here) and how we use such personal data.It is important to note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to any other data, such as any personal data that may be included in the files, documents, recordings, chat logs, transcripts, and similar data that we maintain on our customers’ behalf, as well as any other information our customers may upload to their Collaboration Insights account(s) in connection with their use of our Services (which we refer to as “Content” in our Terms of Services (insert TOS link here) or information gathered from other channels, such as publicly available sources. For the avoidance of doubt, we process customer Content, including any personal data which may be included therein, solely for the purpose of providing and operating our Services to our customers and only in accordance with their written instructions, which typically take the form of our Terms of Service and/or any similar written agreement or order form between Collaboration Insights and our customer.You Own Your Data and Access to ItThe information gathered through testing completed at yüMIvü is your data. You may instruct yüMIvü within the yüMIvü application to delete it at any time. While we are committed to being a good steward of your Personal Information as defined below by handling it in a responsible manner, and securing it with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, much of your personal privacy is under your control. With yüMIvü, multiple individuals and entities may see your profile information AS ENABLED BY YOU. Access to your information is completely controlled by you. We advise you to consider carefully when accepting sharing requests within yüMIvü. Always ensure you know the requesting individual or entity and how they will use your information. Also, we advise you that while you can set access expiration dates or use the yüMIvü default expiration timeline, your information that can be captured manually by others while they do have access and your profile is not likely to change. Be smart and stay safe out there.Data Categories and Collection PurposesWhen you visit our website(s) and/or use our Services, you provide the following categories of personal data to us:
- Customer Account and Registration Data is data you provide when you create your account with us for our Services, request support or technical assistance, or register for events, webinars, whitepapers and surveys, which typically include first and last name, billing data, and a valid email address. We need this data to provide the Services to you, to maintain and support your account, as well as to collect payment.
- Service Data (including Session, Location and Usage data): When you visit our websites and use our Services, we receive data that you or others voluntarily enter, including on schedules and attendee lists, as well as data that is automatically logged by the website or Service – for example, duration of session, connections made, hardware, equipment and devices used, IP addresses, location, language settings, operating system used, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We need this information to provide, operate, and improve our Services. We collect location-based data for the purpose of providing, operating, and supporting the Service and for fraud prevention and security monitoring; you can disable location data transmission on mobile devices at any time by disabling location services from the settings menu on your device.
- Sharing and Interaction Data: In the delivery of our services we collect information provided by you that is necessary for delivery of our services. This includes your interactions with other individuals and/or groups with whom you voluntarily elect to share your information. This further includes data collected as part of your completion of testing which is used to represent you in the interactions with others. If you interact with social media through yüMIvü, for example “Share,” “Post,” “Tweet,” “Pin,” or “Follow Us” links to sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube, yüMIvü will collect these interactions and whatever account information these services make available to us. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statement of the applicable third-party company.
- Access of yüMIvü through outside applications: yüMIvü utilizes third party applications to display information to individual and group connections you have authorized. yüMIvü may also capture data from your interactions with yüMIvü content residing in these third-party applications. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statement of the applicable third-party company.
We strive to limit the types and categories of personal data that is collected from, and processed on behalf of, our users to include only information which is necessary to achieve the purpose(s) for which it was collected and we do not use personal data for additional purpose(s) which are incompatible with their initial collection. In other words, we have measures and policies in place designed to ensure that we only collect and process information from our users that we believe is necessary to operate and provide them with a world-class Service.Your creation of an account is also you telling yüMIvü that you understand that it will collect, process and share your personal information provided by you and derived through your yüMIvü testing process as described in this Privacy Statement.Other yüMIvü Group associations you choose to make may also require additional information such as Role, Location, and Group Member Relationship. Your election to participate in a Group constitutes acceptance of yüMIvü collection, storing, and processing this personal information.At any time, you can request that yüMIvü delete information you have uploaded into your account by terminating your account.How We Use Your DataWe use the data we collect from visitors to our websites and applications to: (a) provide and operate our Services; (b) address and respond to service, security, and customer support needs; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, unlawful, or technical issues; (d) comply with applicable laws and administrative requests, protect our rights, assert and defend against claims; (e) fulfill contracts; (f) maintain and improve our Services; (g) provide analysis or valuable data back to our customers and users; (h) assess the needs of your business to determine and promote other Collaboration Insights products which we believe may be helpful to you; (i) provide product updates, marketing communications, and service data; (j) conduct research and analysis for business planning and product development; (k) display content based upon your interests; and (l) to the extent permitted by law, we may combine, correct, and enrich personal data that we receive from you with data about you from other sources, including publicly available databases or from third parties to update, expand, and analyze our records, identify new prospects for marketing, and provide products and Services that may be of interest to you. Additionally, yüMIvü may use your data as follows:
- Research Partners:
- We share your yüMIvü Information without personal identification data to research partners.
- Law Enforcement:
- yüMIvü does not voluntarily cooperate with law enforcement. To provide our Users with the greatest protection under the law, we require all government agencies seeking access to yüMIvü customers’ data to follow valid legal process.
- If we are compelled to disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement, we will do our best to provide you with advance notice, unless we are prohibited under the law from doing so.
- yüMIvü does not voluntarily cooperate with law enforcement. To provide our Users with the greatest protection under the law, we require all government agencies seeking access to yüMIvü customers’ data to follow valid legal process.
- Other Legal or Regulatory Process:

Under certain circumstances we will not be able to fulfill your request, such as if it interferes with our regulatory obligations, affects legal matters, we cannot verify your identity, or it involves disproportionate cost or effort, but in any event we will respond to your request within thirty (30) days and provide you an explanation. Please note that for personal data about you that we have obtained or received for processing on behalf of a separate, unaffiliated entity – which determined the means and purposes of processing, all such requests should be made to that entity directly. We will honor and support any instructions they provide us with respect to your personal data.Retention PracticesyüMIvü Services are fundamentally premised on the notion of a life-long relationship. As a result, our retention practices reflect this ongoing value by retaining user accounts on our system until our Users inform us of their desire to delete their data or close their accounts.
- Account and Profile:
- yüMIvü will retain the Personal Information you provide while creating your account and your profile until such time as you ask us to delete it.
- Test Results:
- yüMIvü retains your test results until such time you ask us to delete it. yüMIvü may at its election retain test scores for research purposes without association to any individual identity. Gender and year of birth may be retained.
- Usage Information
- We retain usage information (e.g., visits to sites) in a depersonalized or aggregated form. Once aggregated, this information ceases to be personal and will not be subject to user deletion requests.
Deleting Personal InformationYou can delete your Personal Information from yüMIvü at any time through the user interface of the yüMIvü application.
- Personal Information:
- You can delete your Personal Information from yüMIvü by logging into your Account Settings. This will remove all access including any Group based usage.
- General:
- Please note that there may be some latency in deleting your yüMIvü test information from our backup systems after it has been deleted from our production, development, analytics, and research systems.
SecurityyüMIvü maintains a comprehensive information security and data transfer program designed to protect our customers’ Personal Information using administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.The specific security measures used are based on the sensitivity of the Personal Information collected. We have measures in place to protect against inappropriate access, loss, misuse, or alteration of Personal Information (including Genetic Information) under our control.The yüMIvü Security Team regularly reviews our security and privacy practices and enhances them as necessary to help ensure the integrity of our systems and your Personal Information.We use secure server software to encrypt Personal Information (including yüMIvü test Information), and we only partner with security companies that meet and commit to our security standards. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur, we use reasonable efforts to prevent this.It is also important for you to guard against unauthorized access to your Personal Information by maintaining strong passwords and protecting against the unauthorized use of your own computer or device.Authorized Agents.The CCPA allows California residents to use “authorized agents” to make requests to know and requests for deletion. To use an authorized agent, email us at support@yüMIvü.com. Note that even if a consumer chooses to use an authorized agent for a request, the consumer will still need to work directly with us to provide items 3 and 4 below:
- Proof that the authorized agent is registered with the Secretary of State to conduct business in California.
- Signed permission from the consumer allowing the authorized agent to act on the consumer’s behalf.
- Verification of the consumer’s identity (to be made directly by the consumer to us). We will require proof of identity and California address (e.g., a copy of your government ID, which will be used solely to verify your identity and address).
- Confirmation that the consumer provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request to be confirmed directly by the consumer to us.
